When I was a little girl, I found all lace works were amazing and impossible to make. Elders were not rushing detailed handicrafts such as lace, they had patient and perfect finishes. They left us in the care of these same memories transferred to the ceramic plate and Lace Series have emerged.
All of my products adorned with fine lace motifs were obtained using shaped stoneware ceramic clay.
It can be used for decorative purposes or can also be used for cheese and fruit presentation.
They are food safe and dishwasher safe, but fine ceramics is the recommended hand washing.
This handmade plate is designed with fine details while the clay is still wet, colored with stain and finished with a glossy glazes. It is twice fired for strength and durability, with the second high-firing at 2283°F / 1250°C.
Measures approximately 25 cm in diameter.
Because of the nature of individually handmade items, the piece you receive may have minor variations from what is shown in the photo: each product is individually crafted and unique.
